The Gibson Hotel in Dublin 1 is located in the point square beside the 3 Arena.

Travelling by Taxi
Taxis are available from the airport, although availability may be limited during peak travel times. Please be advised taxi’s in Dublin run via a taxi meter.
Expect to pay approximately €30 from Dublin Airport.
From Dublin Airport
By Car:
- Exit Dublin airport and take the M1 south bound
- Take the port tunnel which takes you straight under the city (A toll charge applies - toll price varies during rush hour)
- On exiting the port tunnel get into right lane
- Take right at 2nd set of traffic lights onto Sheriff Street
- Take 1st left into underground car park (euro car park)
By Bus:
The Aircoach will bring you from the airport to outside the 3Arena.
The Aircoach is a direct service between the city centre and Dublin Airport. The Aircoach runs every 2 hours 24 hours a day. It costs €6 for single journey or €12 for a return ticket.
From M50 Motorway
- Take M50 south bound to M1
- Take M1 south bound
- Take the port tunnel which takes you straight under the city (A toll charge applies - toll price varies during rush hour)
- On exiting the port tunnel get into right lane
- Take right at 2nd set of traffic lights
- Take 1st left into underground car park (euro car park)
Luas Tram
Our hotel is located right at the Luas tram stop ‘The Point’.
This is on the red line service and travels into the city centre every 10 minutes, giving guests easy access into the city centre.
Luas tickets can be purchased just outside the tram.

The Aircoach will bring you from the airport to outside the 3Arena.
The Aircoach is a direct service between the city centre and Dublin Airport. The Aircoach runs every 2 hours 24 hours a day. It costs €6 for single journey or €12 for a return ticket.
Dublin Express
The Dublin Express provides a convenient and cost-effective way to travel to The Gibson Hotel from Dublin Airport. Operating on route 783, the service runs day and night and offers free Wi-Fi on board. Adult tickets are €8 from Dublin Airport to the 3Arena stop, located next to the hotel.
Parking
Point Square Car Park
The Point Square car park is located at rear of the hotel, with the entrance on Sheriff Street Upper, Dublin 1.
As this is a public car park there is an overnight charge for residents at a preferential rate of €25. This is payable at the hotel reception on check-out. As a hotel resident, you do not need to pre-book into the car park.
The car park contains 11 EV charging units for your electric vehicle.
